Paris winter meeting ends with betting up 3.8 per cent

The winter meeting in Paris has come to an end. Saturday (March 2) is the final race card for this season and as usual, the $250,000 Prix de Selection is scheduled on the meet-closing card.
Prix de Selection is a race where 4-year-old trotters starts from distance 2.175 meters while 5- and 6-year-olds begin 25 meters behind.

Drivers set for World Driving Championship in Sweden
In May, in connection to The Elitlopp at Solvalla, the World Driving Championship will be held at five different racetracks in Sweden. The 12 drivers from all around the world will get an opportunity to race at Solvalla during the weekend of Elitloppet, which most certainly will be an experience that they will remember for the rest of their careers. The audience at Solvalla during this particular weekend is well known for the great enthusiasm they give the actives on the track.
