Super Saturday in Europe

Trotting fans will have their eyes on France, Norway, and Finland this Saturday (Sept. 13) as major prize money is up for grabs in all three nations.
The biggest races and the most well-known trotters will be seen in Paris, at Vincennes, where the Criterium for 3-, 4-, and 5-year-olds will take place, each with a total purse of $300,000.
In Tampere, Finland, the Finnish Criterium for 3-year-olds will be contested over 2,600 meters, and in Oslo, Norway, it’s the 3- and 4-year-old fillies and mares competing in the Criterium (3-year-olds) and the Derby (4-year-olds).
Paris will once again play hosts to a strong field of trotters. Among the standouts are Lovino Bello, Koctel du Dain, Mille Étoiles, and Keep Going — just a few of the many quality horses entered.
Bjerke’s super weekend starts Saturday and ends Sunday with the big 3- and 4-year-old-races for colts and geldings.
