Trainer Nancy Takter loves a theme for Twos in Training. Last year, it was about highlighting diamonds in the rough — including Champagne Problems, one that turned out to be all diamond, and a Dan Patch winner. This year, while speaking to Heather Vitale — for Vitale’s 2025 Twos in Training debut — Takter wanted to highlight horses that are progeny of past champions either she or her father, Jimmy, trained.
