Allerage Farms is pleased and excited to announce the very first foal arrivals of the 2024 season.
At the Stanfordville, NY farm, this filly (right, standing) born Feb. 6 is among the earliest of the Ecurie D foals, this one from the maiden mare Plum Wine.
The dam took a 1:59f record at age 3 and is the only surviving female from Allerage foundation mare Magenta Hall, making Plum Wine a half-sister to the million-dollar winning 2013 Yonkers Trot champ, Dewycolorintheline.
Over at the Sayre, PA location on Feb. 8 came a colt (left) by the red-hot Tactical Landing. The colt is the third foal of stakes winner Smoke And Mirrors 3, 1:55.3 ($290,787).
Both mares and foals are doing well.
