by WinStar Farm

WinStar Farm made history on Saturday (Jan. 20). The farm foaled its first standardbred foal. The colt is by world champion Walner out of Grandma’s Moni. He is owned by Lindy Farm and David Reid’s Moni Market Breeders. WinStar has its fingers crossed that in 2024 it has foaled both the Hambletonian and Kentucky Derby winners of 2027. Grandma’s Moni is a Donato Hanover mare out of All Our Moni, who is out of the legendary Moni Maker.
