All American selling all of its Lexington yearlings in the first two sessions

All American Harnessbreds is offering a power-packed consignment of 11 yearlings at the Lexington Selected Yearling Sale, all selling in the first two days.
The Maryland farm has three selling on Monday’s (Oct. 3) opening night and eight more selling on Tuesday (Oct. 4)
“I think the highlight, and probably one of the highlights in the sale, is Hip 15 (Show Of Faith), which is a Captaintreacherous sister to reigning Horse of the Year Test Of Faith. She’s also the sister to another good filly named Alexis Faith, who has made over half a million,” said All American’s Rob Tribbett. “She’s very nice. Captain fillies are very desirable on their own and certainly from that pedigree she’s a pretty special opportunity for somebody to buy a filly like that.
“We have a really nice Captain colt at Hip 351 (Captain Hansen) and he’s a half-brother to Act Fast, one of the better 2-year-olds in Ohio this year. This is the second colt from the mare by Captain and he’s really nice.
“One horse that I really like a lot is Hip 287 (Make It Rhyme). It’s an Always B Miki colt. I just think physically he’s maybe as nice as any horse we’re selling this year.”
All American is selling 34 more yearlings at the Standardbred Horse Sales Company’s auction in November in Harrisburg, PA.
“We want to be supporting both sales. We should be participating at all places in the market,” Tribbett said. “Sometimes, the later foals, having that extra five weeks to Harrisburg that helps. We’re really trying to separate… because we’re going to have a lot of yearlings by stallions Captaintreacherous and Walner and those horses, so we take the opportunity to kind of split those so we’re not competing against ourselves by having all Captaintreacherous in one sale.”
