(Editor’s Note: Thanks to you, our readers, we have had more Foal of the Week submissions than we expected. While we won’t be able to publish all of the photos submitted, we would like to publish more than we can running this feature just once a week. So, beginning today, until we work through some of the backlog, we will publish a Foal of the Week both on Friday and Sunday, which really makes this Foals of the Week)
This filly, foaled April 21 at Hanover Shoe Farms, is by Swan For All and out of the mare High Sobriety thus making her the first full sibling to 2017 Horse Of The Year and world champion Hannelore Hanover 1:49.2 ($3,069,057). The resemblance between this filly and Hannelore is uncanny giving her the barn nickname “Baby Hanna”. If this filly’s early athleticism and personality are any indicator she will be trying her hardest to fill big sister’s shoes. Both High Sobriety and Hannelore Hanover (now a Hanover Shoe Farms broodmare) are being bred to Greenshoe in 2020.
