Treasure Kronos to USA

by Thomas Hedlund

Jerry Riordan-trained Treasure Kronos (Raja Mirchi—Glide About) will see a new career on the other side of the Atlantic ocean. After a winter in Paris and Sweden, the 6-year-old mare will now go to America where she’s going to either Brett Pelling or Tony O’Sullivan.

The idea is that Treasure Kronos is going to race in America and thereafter become a broodmare in her new country.

”She will race in America, which later will help her in the career as broodmare. Right now, no one knows about her,” said Riordan.

Treasure Kronos has raced 40 times with 11 victories and $602,000 dollars on the account. The biggest victory was taken in Criterium Continental in Paris 2016.

A second from Sweden has been invited to the Elitloppet at Solvalla in May. Prix d’Amérique winner Readly Express (Ready Cash) got his invitation soon after the victory in Paris in January and now the staff of Solvalla have invited Swiss owned — the horse will compete under the flag of Switzerland —mare Uza Josselyn, who recently won the Prix du Platteau de Gravelle at Vincennes.

French driver Alexandre Abrivard will steer the 7-year-old mare at Solvalla in May.
