It’s not too often that a race in early March generates any excitement. Good horses are supposed to be in hibernation this time of year, not battling the frigid weather for paltry purses. But tonight’s $20,000 second leg of the William Buddy Gilmour series at the Meadowlands has actually created some buzz. It features a showdown between two undefeated horses, either one of whom could be standing in the winner’s circle come Meadowlands Pace or North America Cup night.
