Meadowlands Says Breeders Crown Winner Traceur Hanover Had Excess Cobalt Level

The Meadowlands is alleging that tests on Breeders Crown winner Traceur Hanover and stablemate Voelz Hanover contained five times the threshold level for cobalt typically found in a horse’s system. Cobalt is considered a performance-enhancer. Both horses are trained by Corey Johnson.
