All American Harnessbred has 33 yearlings to sell at the Standardbred Horse Sales Company’s auction that begins Monday (Nov. 7) in Harrisburg, PA and Rob Tribbett said, “It’s a really good group. There’s something for everybody. There’s Ontario-breds, Pennsylvania-breds, New York-breds, trotters and pacers.”

As for singling out some top prospects, Tribbett said, “There’s one that I think is really worth mentioning… We raised a lot of good horses on the farm, but Hip 122 (Best Day), he’s a full brother to Stag Party and a half-brother to Save America and a three-quarter brother to Hen Party.

“When we do the yearling videos out in the field, the first moments they start moving you really get an idea of what kind of horse they are. He was such a great mover to complement his pedigree. Physically, he’s much more like Hen Party or Save America than Stag Party. Stag was a first foal, so he’s a little bit bigger than them, but I think he’s just a standout on paper, in the field, but also physically, as well.”

Tribbett also placed the spotlight on Hip 116 Likeitusedtobe.

“That’s a Walner colt. What Walner has done in his first few crops is remarkable. That mare’s first foal was unable to be trained, because it was hurt as a yearling, so it’s really kind of a first foal. In the first and second dams, you’ve got millionaires. This is another horse that really moves good and it’s really a standout colt,” Tribbett said.

VALUE PICK

As for an “under-the-radar pick” Tribbett point to Hip 508 Man Of The Town.

“It’s another Walner colt. It’s from the pedigree of San Pail and that horse is just really physically a standout. When people see him, they are really going to like him,” Tribbett said.
