Talk about an up-to-date assessment. Thirty-one of some 80 racehorses selling Monday (Jan. 17) at the Tattersalls Winter Mixed Sale will race or qualify this weekend — the vast majority right at The Meadowlands where the sale will be held (see chart).

The auction, held on the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday, begins at 1 p.m. in the paddock at The Big M.
