Concord Stud offers “welcome back to Harrisburg” brunch Monday morning before starting the sale with a bang

Concord Stud would like to welcome the industry back to Harrisburg — and hopefully the return to some normalcy — by again offering its pre-sale complimentary brunch on Monday (Nov. 8) from 10 a.m. to noon at its consignment in the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex (PFSC).
“We hope everyone stops by to grab a bite to eat and, of course, a Bloody Mary or Mimosa,” said Concord’s Julie Meirs, who said highlighting just a few of Concord’s 60-some yearlings was difficult because, “we have a very strong consignment of yearlings.”
That includes the very first horse in the ring on Monday, Hip 1 Speed Ship, a Sweet Lou colt out of Terroronthebeach.
“We get the start the sale off with a bang,” Meirs said. “A full brother to No Lou Zing.”
Meirs also highlighted Hip 58 Lord Bridgerton, a Muscle Hill colt out of Fine Tuned Lady.
“He is a big, strong, powerful colt,” Meirs said. “He is well gaited and has a great video.”
Meirs said she Concord is delighted to also be selling Hip 69 In Italian, the Chapter Seven—Hemi Blue Chip full sister to superstar mare Atlanta.
“We have loved this filly since the day she was born,” Meirs said.
Finally, Meirs picked out Hip 93 Paula’s Power, a Captaintreacherous—Michelles Power filly.
“She is a nice filly out of one of the most powerful female families in the sale,” Meirs said.
