Winbak Farm welcomes first foals of 2024 in Ontario and Maryland

Winbak Farm of Canada and Maryland have welcomed their first foals of 2024.

On Jan. 10, Winbak Farm of Canada’s first foal, the Cattlewash—Hope For Paddy filly (lying down), was born. Hope For Paddy, p, 2, 1:59.2f; 1:52.1s; 1:50.1s ($572,177), was a 35-time race winner.

On Jan. 13, Winbak Farm of Maryland welcomed its first foal, a Green Manalishi S—Young Michelle filly. This is the first foal from the mare. She is a half-sister to Michelle’s Way, 3, 1:56.1s ($248,072).

Both broodmares and their foals are doing well.
