“Dude” Says Adios to the Competition

Dude’s The Man had lost six straight coming into the $400,000 Adios at The Meadows, but none of them by more than two lengths. He was a horse knocking on the door, and yesterday they let him in. Winning his first start since the June 6 Somebeachsomewhere, Dude’s The Man turned in a career best effort and took advantage of a group of competitors that was lacking Wiggle It Jiggleit and some other top names to win the Adios by two lengths.

Trained by Jessica Okusko and driven by Corey Callahan, the son of American Ideal paid $5.00 and went the mile in 1:48.4.
